Directions: We will be meeting at the NW corner of Broad and Market Streets. The corner store is Urban Eyes Optical. We will be by the bus stop in front of Conwayclothing store.

Directions from NYC via train: Board the NJ Path Train ($1.75 Metrocard 1-way) at 33rd Street and 6th Ave and take it to Journal Square station in NJ. Transfer to the Path train headed to Newark. Newark is the last stop. The Path train is about a 35-40 minute ride from NYC to Newark. (See Path train here) Once in Newark, walk NW on Market Street towards Broad Street. You will pass MaCarter Hwy and Mulberry Street. We will be on the NW corner by the bus stop in front of Conway clothing store. The corner store is Urban Eyes Optical.

What is God doing @ LCC and Off-Campus?

This past CCN Saturday was blessed! Students from MSU, Ramapo College, Seton Hall University, Bronx Community College, and members from LaGuardia Community Collegecame out for a time of prayer, worship, Word, street evangelism, and lunch fellowship!

We ended our study last week on the humanity of Christ, and were left with sheer gratitiude for our Lord and Savior Jesus Crhist, who became a like one of us in order that he may taste death for us.
Hallelujah!! What a Savior!!

We had a blessed time last week at CCN Fellowship. We began our study of our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, and learn why it was nessarry for Jesus to become a man just like us. This week we will complete our study of the humanity of christ and begin our study on the divinity of Christ. Moreover, we were blessed by more believers and pray the will continue to come and fellowship with us.

Fter our fellowship we grabed our tracts and hit the streets of Queens, passing out tracts and engaging students in one to one. The Lord blessed our sister Jasmine with a witnessing encounter with a man who was impacted by postmodernism. The conversation lasted over an hour. We pray for this man, and all those whom recieved the gospel!

Last week was cold and wet, but the gospel still went forth. We were able to hand out tracts to students under the 7 train. We were blessed to meet another believer who used to be an Atheist. God Saves to the uttermost!!

Revival! Persection! Are you reasy? Last week we study through 3Timothy 3, and we discuss what will hapen in the last days. Accourding scripture, sin will increase, as will false teachers, but also the gospel will be proclaimed throughtout the world. Do you know, that in the last few years alone, open air preaching has increase? Are you ready for the Lords revival? After our fellowship we began to share the gospel with students, and pass out tracts, until we were stopped by an officer, saying we were not allowed to pass out tracts inside the campus..BUT we still were able to pass out tracts right outside the building, where tons of students were coming to anf fro!

This Thursday, if the Lord wills, we will be Open- Air preaching right outside the college building, biding people young and old to Repent and trust in the savior!

Jasmine sharing the gospel with a group of Students outside in the Quad. They were really open to the gospel, and were moved by Jasmine's testimony of how the Lord saved her!

In a race an athete runs in such a way that he wins the goal. As Christians, we are in a race, and our main aim is to win a crown that is imperishable. But to run the race, one must be totally focus, displinning hiself, by throwing off anything from sin, to things that hinder us from crossing the finishing line. In order for this to happen, a Christian must displine his body, kill sin in his life, be accountable to others, and his eyes must be ever fixed on Jesus! This is all we learned from last weeks study of 2 Timothy2.

CCN Fellowship Update: it's official!! Thursday's are now the official day of CCN fellowships

At last weeks fellowship, the Lord blessed us with another laborer. Brother Jamel came out with his tool box all filled with tracts, ready seek and saved that which is lost!

We looked at the difference between an active soldier of Christ and an inactive soldier for Christ? It was a very edifying and self-examining time before the word of God.

After our lesson, we came before to Lord and cried out to him, for souls to be saved, laborers to be raised up and favor with the authorites on campus, for the reason that we would by Gods grace engage in Open Air Preaching. The Lord heard our cry!!!! As we were passing out tracts, 2 believers came us to us seeking Christian fellowship. Both were new to LCC and were seeking a place in which they could be encourage and edified by other believers.

We continue to pray for these believers whom the Lord put in our path, and pray that the Lord would enable them to come out and join us in fellowship, and reaching the lost on the campus.

Morever, the Lord blessed us with two encounters. The first ws a man, who asked us if Jesus was God? which open the door for brother Jamel to witness to him. The man was very thankful that we took the time to speak with him.

We ended our outreach 2 hours later then usually. We had such a blessed time preaching the gospel we would've stayed even later!! Praise the Lord that he used what is follish and weak to proclam His gospel!

New CCN Fellowship Day: CCN has been move to Friday's from 4-6pm till further notice.

Last weeks fellowship started off with a bang. NYC was it with a dangerous storm that brought tonardoes to the Qeens area. Indeed it was a scary day that left many frustrated asking the question " How am I going to get home". However if was all worth it, just to share the good news to those whom will listen.

Moreover last week we bagan our study in the book of 2 Timothy which was the apostle Paul last letter that he wrote before he was beheaded. Paul is writing to Timothy from a prison in room where he was knee deep in human waste, and in the mist of his cicrumstance he says 'i thank God whom I serve..." 2 Timothy 1:3.
What am awesome and challenging study it was.

After our study, we gather our tracts and began to share the gospel with anyone that will listen. Among those was to youn men, one in whom was studying to be a Catholic Priest. They were both open to the things of God, and the Lord allowed us to show them from the Word of God, that "their is none righteous no not one" Rom 3:10. and that "All our righteous deeds are like filthy rags" isaiah 64:6

Pray to the Lord , that the seed that was sown that day fell on good soil, and either gives us another oppurtunity to speak with them, or that he sends someone else to water, and that God will bring the increase, that it will bear fruit!!!

Last week we contunue our study on missions. We read and discussed the life of Hudson Taylor, a missoanry to China. We learned it takes a love for the Lord Jesus, dedicated, resoulte attitude, and a burden for the lost.

After Our fellowship we picked up our bibles, grapped our tracts and went about sharing the glorious gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord allowed us to speak to three young men, two were muslims, and one atheist. The Lord was truly working on their hearts, as the God's law brought the knowldge of sin to these young men.

The day ended with a wonderful conversation the Lord had given sister Jasmine. A young lady, raised in Christianity like many, but so evidence of true conversion, yet the Lord on that day, out of his mercy, purpose that Jasmine should speak with her. The young lady was deeply convitcted not just by the law, but by the life of Jasmine. Jesus say's "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven" Matthew 5:16 After their conversation the Lord allowed us to pray with her.

With five more fellowship left in the semester, God has continue to show us favor. Last week we had a wonderful study of the Righteous and Justicw of God, and how every thing he does is in direct relationship of who he is. The God of the bible, is righteous and Just! After our study the Lord blessed us with a few oppurtunities to share the good news with a couple. The young lasy that was with the gentleman was deeply touch upon hearing the awesome grace of God, that he freely gives to all who trust in His Son Jesus Christ.

This week we will once again dig deep into the word of God, and study what theologians refer to as The Bema seat of Christ( Judgement seat of Christ)

Saturday, April 24th - 10:30AM - 7PM "CCN Saturday: Back in Washington Square Park" Finally! Spring has come and brought with it the freedom to perform outreaches outdoors with greater freedom! Join us as we witness one-to-one and/or open-air preach in New York City's famous Washington Sqaure Park! Also, join us for group worship, prayer, and a message from the Word of God! Then, join us at Dallas BBQ's in Times Square for dinner and godly fellowship!
