Last Friday... Sniff sniff

OK, so first of all... let me wipe the tears from my eyes...

Ok Im good!... wuz up everybody! welcome to another exciting but this time sad blog of LaGuardia Community College! Last time we posted a blog on how exciting and great was last friday's meeting. We learned new things, saw the WOTM video, etc... But I forgot to mention one thing... NEXT FRIDAY IS OUR LAST FRIDAY TOGETHER! since the holidays are coming up this friday is the last one of the year!! (wow 2007 passed so fast) so make sure all of you come because we're gonna have a great time and we have a little surprise for you! (wink wink) so don't miss it make sure you make some time for us to be together and spend some time with each other before we set off for the holidays!!...

See you there!... Man, I promised myself I wouldn't cry again!

CCN at LaGuardia!

LaGuardia Community College, located in Queens NY, is filled with people from so many different nationalities, cultures and, of course, religions, making it a wonderful place to share the faith! And CCN is here to do the mission!

Following the master's command to 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature' (Mark 16:15), and to 'pray the LORD of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest,' (Matthew 9:38) CCN has come to LCC to prepare laborers to reap the harvest!

Why are we doing this, you might ask? Well it's not because anyone deserves to hear the gospel. In fact, all that we deserve is a just punishment because we have all broken the law of God, which is written in our hearts. We have all lied, stolen, lusted after someone, blasphemed the name of God and all our lives we have failed to give Him the glory that He is so worthy of. We do not do it because we don't want poor sinners to end up in Hell, because that is the righteous judgement of God. We do it because the KING OF GLORY is worthy to receive all of our love! We do it because we were created to give glory to the LORD, and as sinners, there is no way for us to do that. The only way that we can give glory to God is by repenting of our sins and trusting in the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST.

Everyone who repents and trust in Jesus and His sacrifice to satisfy the wrath of God against sinners, will be forgiven and given eternal life, so that we may no longer live for ourselves, but for Him who gave Himself for us! He is so worthy!!

We do not deserve Him, but He deserves us all!

We encourage you to join CCN and be a part of the most sovereign task that we have: Bringing Glory to the LAMB that was slain.
