Welcome back to a new semester of CCN

on LaGuarida College!

Last week was our first day back! We had a great study on what Repentance is and is not. Moreover the Lord Blessed us a conversation with two students, one an Atheist and the other a Muslim. It was a very interesting, that took us down a few rabbit trails. It just show the Word of God to be true, that Gods law stops to sinner from justifying himself and leaves him guilty before God.(Rom 3:19)

Join Us! as we come together once again for the glory of Christ, in fellowship and the teaching of Gods word.

CCN at LaGuardia!

LaGuardia Community College, located in Queens NY, is filled with people from so many different nationalities, cultures and, of course, religions, making it a wonderful place to share the faith! And CCN is here to do the mission!

Following the master's command to 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature' (Mark 16:15), and to 'pray the LORD of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest,' (Matthew 9:38) CCN has come to LCC to prepare laborers to reap the harvest!

Why are we doing this, you might ask? Well it's not because anyone deserves to hear the gospel. In fact, all that we deserve is a just punishment because we have all broken the law of God, which is written in our hearts. We have all lied, stolen, lusted after someone, blasphemed the name of God and all our lives we have failed to give Him the glory that He is so worthy of. We do not do it because we don't want poor sinners to end up in Hell, because that is the righteous judgement of God. We do it because the KING OF GLORY is worthy to receive all of our love! We do it because we were created to give glory to the LORD, and as sinners, there is no way for us to do that. The only way that we can give glory to God is by repenting of our sins and trusting in the SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST.

Everyone who repents and trust in Jesus and His sacrifice to satisfy the wrath of God against sinners, will be forgiven and given eternal life, so that we may no longer live for ourselves, but for Him who gave Himself for us! He is so worthy!!

We do not deserve Him, but He deserves us all!

We encourage you to join CCN and be a part of the most sovereign task that we have: Bringing Glory to the LAMB that was slain.
