Please join me as learn together on what makes Grace so amazing.

Fellowships: Thursday's
Time: 1-3pm
Location- Cafeteria

May this testimony encourage you all.

On Monday night I meet up with Brother's Gary, Calvin at 42nd times sq, to preach the gospel.I handed out tracts as Gary and others proclaimed Gods word.. It was an awesome night that ended with us ministering to a man named Ryan. Ryan was searching and trying do please God but he is bondage to alcohol. We prayed with him and we all went out to eat and continued to minister to Ryan.
We encouraged him not to go by what others tell you, nor trust in your feelings(heart is deceitful )

We read him Ephesians 2 and tried to explain to him what the context was saying. It was tough, because he needs to learn to be slow to speak and quick to listen.. He is homeless and apparently has a warrant. He tried to turn himself in yesterday but was turned away. He told us about a program that he was going to, to help him with his alcohol problems. I pray he reads the Bible and knowns that if the Son sets you free you are free indeed.

On our way back home Gary began to preach on the a and D train. It was very powerful, people though looked annoyed(because it was late) listen to the message. He preached on Noah and the Fload and the sinfulness of man.hen i got to preach on the next cart. I preached from Luke 16, about the Rich man and Lazarus, and i asked the question "what if today was your last day here on earth" When preaching the gospel it is always a win win situation!

God Bless

#1 Atheist Book on Amazon written by a Christian Author?

Ray Comfort's new book debunking atheism, "You Can Lead an Atheist to Evidence but You Can't Make Him Think," has rocketed up the Amazon.com rankings on its first day of release, moving from No. 69,572 to No. 38 in 24 hours.

On Darwin Day (Charles Darwin's 200th birthday – Feb. 12), Comfort's latest, "You Can Lead an Atheist to Evidence but You Can’t Make Him Think," published by WND Books, pushed Richard Dawkins' "The God Delusion" out of the No. 1 spot in the atheist category on Amazon.com. Dawkins is "arguably the most famous living atheist".

Article and Book: http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=88735

Ray is also offering money to debate Dawkins. However, Dawkins is refusing. http://worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=89999

Pray that many hear the gospel through this book, which like all of Ray's work, are evangelistic. The goal - win souls to Christ.

CCN Laguardia Fellowship kicks-off Tuesday, February 24th, 2009,

Greetings,

My name Nick, I am a representative for CCN. About a month ago, I received a called from CCN Mentor Jonathan Barba to assist in leading CCN fellowship on LaGuardia, in Hector Sanchez absences. Hector Sanchez is still the Campus Leader, but due to his work schedule, he will be unable to lead. I am deeply humbled by this opportunity, and I look forward to meeting you all.

Do you have, a desire cultivate your relationship with Jesus Christ though the study of his word? Do you wish to learn how to articulate your Christian belief to others? Beginning Tuesday February 24th, 2009, I will be teaching on the Forgotten Key to Biblical Evangelism. So join me as we begin another semester of CCN LaGuardia fellowships.

Looking forward to see what God is going to do this Semester at LaGuardia.

BASICS Prayer Meeting @LaGuardia 10/21/08
"And He was saying to them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest."

“Prayer is never an acceptable substitute for obedience.  The sovereign Lord accepts no offering from His creatures that is not accompanied by obedience.  To pray for revival while ignoring or actually flouting the plain precept laid down in the Scriptures is to waste a lot of words and get nothing for our trouble.”
Of God and Men, 52. A.W. Tozer
“When I am praying the most eloquently, I am getting the least accomplished in my prayer life.  But when I stop getting eloquent and give God less theology and shut up and just gaze upward and wait for God to speak to my heart He speaks with such power that I have to grab a pencil and a notebook and take notes on what God is saying to my heart.”
Success and the Christian, 46-47 A.W. Tozer

Live from LaGuardia! Preaching to the "Smoking Section!"

Check these videos out: (don't worry... they're nice and short!)

Jonathan was preaching here to the "smoking section"!

In this one, you gotta listen to the end... I loved the way the Lord used my brother when he said that Jesus Christ gave his life for homosexuals!! Amen!!! God's love is amazing for sinners, not only homosexuals, but for all!"

Handing out tracts!

Note: Keep praying and preaching the Gospel. God really is at work. Short testimony: After we finished preaching to this crowd a young man came over and started having a conversation with us. God was really convicting him of his sin. You can actually almost touch the conviction on people. Sometimes they can shake YOU off easily, but they can't shake off the HOLY GHOST!

This is Pilar and I. Pilar is the student leader of CCN at LaGuardia. She is
such a blessing and a lot of help. Her sister, Natalie, and Pilar have a real love for Jesus. Praise the Lord for them!

!!!BACK TO BASICS!!!!

LAGUARDIA IS GOING BACK TO BASICS

PRAYER

Check out what Scriptures says:

Colossians 4:2-6: "2Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. 3And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. 4Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. 5Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. 6Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone."

If you want to share the Gospel, prayer needs to set the stage (v. 2), so that doors of opportunity would open (V. 3) and that the message that is given be given with clarity(v. 4), wisdom, zeal (v. 5), and even apologetics (v. 6b).

TUESDAY MORNING PRAYER
